Oh, God.
When I look out over this world, I see a battlefield where good and evil are violently tangled like a raging torrent, dominated by chaos. No matter how sincerely we live, no matter how deeply we sow the seeds of noble conviction in our hearts, the darkness is always lurking, waiting for that single moment when we lower our guard.
Before we know it, betrayal slips behind trust, and the toxic weed of jealousy takes root in the gaps of friendship. Why does such unreasonable evil run rampant? Why do You allow these vicious predators to ravage the sacred ground we have built with our own hands?
"Tear them out and crush them immediately!" The hot-blooded justice within me screams, clenching my fists in anger. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. A fierce impulse drives my soul to settle the score right now, to judge the wicked by my own hands, and to purge this battlefield.
But, my Lord. With quiet majesty, You halt my storm-like fury. "Wait. Do not rush," Your deep silence whispers to my soul.
If we rush to rip out the poisonous weeds now, we might damage and uproot the fragile, sincere souls who are fighting desperately to survive alongside them. Your restraint is never a compromise with evil. It is a grand patience, an ultimate mercy, meant to protect the "real ones" who, despite being wounded, are reaching their hands toward the light in this absurd world.
Chapter I: The Warrior's Discipline of "Waiting"
For a man, patience is never a sign of weakness. It is the ultimate demonstration of a formidable will—suppressing the urge to lash out, while vigilantly waiting for the appointed time.
No man is born a perfect victor. Looking back, how many mistakes have I made? How many times have I lost my way, or even acted foolishly, spreading my own poison? Yet, Heaven did not cast me aside instantly. Though I was flawed enough to be abandoned, You watched over me in silence, granting me the greatest grace of all: the "time" to stand up and mature into a true man.
If so, how could I ever justify hastily judging and condemning the immaturity of others?
True strength is not about meting out immediate violence against evil. It is about standing in a society infested with poison, yet refusing to let that poison stain your soul, while silently and relentlessly carrying out the "good" you must do. To stand in muddy water without being muddied by it, growing straight and noble toward the heavens—that is the combat style of a chosen man.
Chapter II: Judgment Belongs to Heaven; A Man Simply Stands
The time of ultimate reckoning will surely come.
There is no need to argue over superiority with shallow human wisdom, nor to scream about who is right. My God, Your eyes, which pierce through all reality, know exactly who is genuine and who is a counterfeit. On that appointed day, by Your absolute justice, the light and the darkness will be coldly and perfectly separated. When that time comes, will we be reduced to ashes like weightless weeds blown away by the wind, or will we be gathered into Your storehouse as heavy, golden fruit?
Our duty is not to monitor the actions of others and find satisfaction in pointing out their wickedness. It is to live as an unshakable "original," yielding to no storm, resisting every poison of temptation.
My God. Today, I step back into this chaotic society. The surroundings may be filled with poison designed to deceive and drag men down. But my soul is still, and there is not a single cloud in my mind. Just as You trusted me with patience, I too will put on the armor of endurance and face the battle before me. I will look only to You, bask in Your light, and walk straight along the path of justice I believe in. For my back is protected by You.
